Top-ranked cloud vendors in the world are Oracle, Google Cloud, SAP, and ServiceNow
Oracle, Google Cloud, SAP, and ServiceNow are indeed significant players in the cloud computing industry, but their specific rankings may vary depending on different reports or studies
Oracle is still by far the fastest-growing major cloud provider in the world, with a growth rate of 45%, much outpacing that of Google Cloud, which was in second place with a 28% growth rate, and SAP and ServiceNow, which were in third place with 24% growth rates.
These figures, along with the most recent quarterly results from the other Cloud Wars Top 10 businesses, show that despite persistent economic uncertainty and severely curtailed spending by the majority of businesses, business leaders continue to feel an existential need to move to the cloud in order to meet the demands of the modern marketplace.
According to each company’s most recent quarterly results, here is how the Cloud Wars Top 10 ranks in terms of cloud revenue growth (and sure, I’ll update these later this month when Salesforce, Workday, and Snowflake’s fiscal-Q1 results are released).
Cloud computing has been a game-changer within the technology industry, and its impact continues to grow year after year. Many technology-based companies have shifted their focus towards cloud computing, offering services that cater to businesses across various industries. With the cloud-revenue growth rate on the rise, it’s no surprise that many companies are vying for a top spot in this competitive market.
The top ten stacks up on cloud-revenue growth based on each company’s performance in recent years. Amazon Web Services (AWS) takes the lead with an impressive 33% revenue growth rate followed by Microsoft Azure at 23%. Google Cloud comes in third place with a growth rate of 20%, while IBM Cloud and Salesforce round out the top five with rates of 14% and 13%, respectively.
